Drop Off Time & Location: 1700 hrs at Provigo – Le Marche 16900 Transcanada, Kirkland
Pick Up Time: 1600 hrs at Provigo – Le Marche 16900 Transcanada, Kirkland (Pls Monitor your email, we will send update when we leave the camp)

Cost: 70$  – To be paid online below or by Cash or Check made to Beaconsfield Scouts Canada

For the Cuboree,  the Cubs will be sleeping outdoors in tents so please ensure they are prepared with ALL the equipment below.

Spring Camp Packing List:

Please note it’s preferable to pack in proper back packs so the Cubs can carry all their clothing and equipment and back packs require less space in the tents than large hockey bags. We understand that not everyone has an appropriate sized back pack or is going to run out and buy one and that’s OK. We do want the Cubs to be involved in packing and pack effectively so they can carry and be responsible for all their personal items.

Photocopy of MEDICARE CARD (No copy of Card, No Camp, No Exceptions!)

BACKPACK: 55 L or larger backpack (not mandatory but suggested)

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Sleeping Mat or Pad
  • Small Pillow
  • Long pants (2)
  • Socks (3) / Underwear (3)
  • T-Shirts (2)
  • Pajamas (2)
  • Rubber Boots
  • Towel and Laundry Bag
  • Wash Bag: Facecloth, Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap in a container, comb / brush
  • Cub handbook, Note pad and pencil
  • Plastic bags (3) (1 Bag for Wet Clothes, 2 Bags to keep feet dry if boots get wet)
  • Survival kit and Compass (optional)
  • Camp Fire Blanket (optional), Sleeping Buddy (optional), Wooden Camp Chair (Optional)

DAYPACK (School backpack is fine, to carry to all activities and for the hike)

  • Sweatshirt
  • Hat and Mitts/Gloves
  • Wool Socks
  • Rain Gear
  • Water Bottle
  • Spare batteries for flashlight
  • Mess Kit (Plate, Cup, Bowl, Knife, Fork, Spoon)
  • Bug Repellent
  • Sun Screen

TO WEAR

Full Uniform (to be worn to Camp) including neckerchief and woggle

  • T-shirt under uniform
  • Long Pants
  • Warm Jacket
  • Boots and Good Socks
  • Flashlight in a pocket (check operation, reverse batteries to prevent use)

Please do NOT bring any electronic items (DS, phones etc), pocket knives or food. Any such items will be confiscated by the Leaders and returned to the Cubs after camp. Please ensure ALL items are marked with your CUBS NAME and BEACONSFIELD CUBS. It is very difficult to repatriate lost items if they are not marked.

We will provide all meals, snacks and drinks!
