Night in the Museum
Night in the Museum our spring trip will be a weekend full of discovery, exploration and fun in Ottawa. Space simulators, dinosaurs, grizzly bears and hands on fun during the day and a truly unique sleepover experience on Saturday night. We will be spending a ‘Night in the Museum’ at the Science & Technology Museum. Museum animators have a full schedule of activities planned for us which finishes in the auditorium with the movie ‘Night in the Museum’. During the weekend we will explore three museums, a driving tour of Ottawa and park playgrounds.
Transportation & Schedule
Transportation: Charter School bus by Autobus Ideal
Drop off time: 8:15 am Saturday April 2nd 2011
Pick-up time: 4:00 pm Sunday April 3rd 2011
Drop off & pick up location: Beaconsfield Metro Parking Lot
Activity Summary
Saturday: Bus to Ottawa, Museum of Civilization (bring box lunch)
Sleep over @ Science & Technology Museum (dinner & breakfast)
Sunday: Museum of Nature, Pizza Lunch & return to Beaconsfield.
Cost & Deadline
Cost: $65 per cub, sibling or parent
Deadline: Friday March 11th, 2011
Siblings & Parents: We have some room on the trip for additional siblings of cubs with an accompanying parent; additional space is limited and availability is on a first come first serve basis.
Sleeping Arrangements
Where: On mats in Locomotive hall in the museum
Bring: Sleeping bag, pillow
Museum provides: Sleeping mats
Who: Everyone; cubs, leaders, siblings and parents
